Unite! HERE Atlantic City Labor Rally

On October 12, the Suspects got a call from the UNITE offices, and four days later they were completely prepared and set up for a labor rally and march in support of Atlantic City's striking casino workers. More than ten thousand attended the incident-free multi-cultural event that helped turn the tide for the union's cause.

Immigrant Workers Freedom Ride Rally

More than 125,000 union and community supporters rallied to support immigrant workers' rights in America when the Freedom Ride rally culminated in a daylong celebration of America's immigrants through music and dance and rallying speeches. Speakers gathered from across the country, and artists were brought in from around the world, including Mexican superstars Bronco, Haiti's legendary Tabou Combo, the Fugee's Wyclef Jean and Caribbean favorite The Mighty Sparrow.
